Pricing

More people, more calls,
one flat price

Transparent. Published. No discovery call required.

Two ways in, both posted. Buy the build outright, or start it for less and keep me working on the site every month. The monthly plan is Craft, with a cheaper step down and a bigger step up on either side of it. No contract on any of them.

I thought there was never going to be a website with the prices I was given. The final cost was well within a reasonable range for a small business.

The status quo

What most agencies will do for your $12,000.

  • 01Two-month discovery process before a single pixel is drawn.
  • 02Drop your business name into a WordPress template they've used 40 times.
  • 03Hand it off to whoever's available that month. You won't meet them.
  • 04Eight weeks later, ship a site you can't touch yourself, billed by the hour every time you need a word changed.
  • 05Disappear. Phone goes to voicemail when you need anything.
The LocalCraft way

A single human.
A two-day clock.
A site you actually own.

Every LocalCraft build is hand-coded by one person (me) for one local business at a time. No white-labeled overseas team. No template you'd recognize. No multi-month timeline. You answer 16 questions about your business and your voice, and 48 hours later you have a finished site on your own domain.

What every build includes

The whole site, from day one.

  • Custom design (no template), every page your buyers search for
  • Mobile-first conversion architecture
  • Lead-capture form with automated follow-up
  • Local SEO + AEO foundation (schema, sitemap, llms.txt)
  • Google Search Console + Bing Webmaster submission
  • One round of post-launch revisions
  • Built to work, or I keep working

Hosting, ongoing SEO, AEO, GEO and performance work, and update work all ride on top of a Care, Craft or Grow plan. Grow adds a weekly SEO content engine that keeps publishing posts tuned to your city long after launch.

What's NOT in every build

The stuff we won't pretend to sell you.

  • E-commerce / online ordering (separate engagement)
  • Booking / scheduling software (we integrate yours)
  • Custom CRM (we hook into yours)
  • WordPress (we use Next.js + Vercel)
  • Stock photo libraries (we use your real photos)
  • Lorem ipsum filler (every line is yours)

If you need any of the above, we'll either scope it as a separate phase or point you at the right vendor.

The 48-hour clock

Five days. Start to launch. Most of it your day off.

Day 0

Spec intake

Answer a short or long intake. You decide if it's a fit. No deck, no upsell.

Day 1

Brand voice

The long version is a 20-minute brand-voice interview. I quote you verbatim wherever I can.

Day 2–3

Sprint build

I disappear. The site gets designed, written, and built in two days.

Day 4

Preview + revise

You see the site on a staging URL. One round of changes.

Day 5

Launch

Site goes live on your domain. Sitemap submitted. Pixel firing. Done.

The plans

Choose the plan that fits how you work

Care keeps a mostly steady site maintained quarterly. Craft is the best value for monthly optimization and unlimited changes. Grow adds weekly original content. Flat Build has no monthly service.

Why Craft

The $300 between Care and Craft is two hours of work

Care includes two hours of updates each month, then costs $150 an hour. At four hours, it costs the same as Craft. Craft includes unlimited updates.

Craft also improves SEO, AI visibility, and performance monthly; Care does that quarterly. Choose Care if your site rarely changes. Both plans are month to month.

The guarantee

Built to work.
I keep working
until it does

A LocalCraft site isn't built to just look good. It's built to turn visitors into calls and inquiries. If yours isn't doing its job, I keep refining and tuning it until it is. I don't hand off a site that just sits there, and I don't call it done until it's earning its place. That fixing work is mine to do, so it never comes out of your included hours on any monthly plan.

Questions, answered

The fine print, unfined

How much does a custom website cost in the Metro East?

A LocalCraft build is $7,997 one time and you own it outright, or $3,997 to start plus a monthly plan. Craft is the best value at $497 a month: hosting, security, daily backups, and SEO, AEO, GEO and performance work run every month, with no ceiling on new pages, sections or content updates. Care is $197 a month, runs that same optimization work every quarter, and includes two hours of update work on top of it. Grow is $997 a month and adds weekly original content, a real-time lead dashboard, and ZIP and category exclusivity.

Why is the Craft Plan the best value?

The Craft Plan is the best value for businesses that expect regular website changes. Care includes two update hours, then costs $150 an hour; at four hours, it reaches Craft's $497 monthly price. Craft also includes unlimited updates and runs SEO, AI visibility, and performance work monthly instead of quarterly.

What is the difference between the Care and Craft plans?

Both plans host your site, secure it, back it up daily, and keep it optimized for search and for AI answers. Craft runs that optimization work every month and Care runs it every quarter. Craft also has no ceiling on new pages, sections or content updates. Care includes two hours of update work a month on top of the optimization, published within 24 hours, with unused hours not rolling over and $150 an hour past two. Both are month to month, and both keep the site yours.

Is there a contract?

No. All three monthly plans operate on a no-contract basis. Cancel in any month, for any reason. You'll see the cancellation reflected on your next billing cycle.

The discount on the build cost is the loyalty mechanism, not a contractual clause buried in page seven. We'd rather earn the next month than enforce it.

What happens to my site if I cancel?

You keep it. The code, the design, the content. There is no buyout fee, no termination clause, no transfer cost, no escrow. You can host it elsewhere, hand it to a different developer, or sit on it. It is yours.

What about my domain, email, and Google listing?

Handled personally, start to finish. Domain transfer, email migration, Google Business Profile, DNS, hosting cutover and redirects are all part of the build, with zero downtime. You will not lose a phone number, an email address, or a single Google review during the move, and your existing search rankings carry across.

What if the site isn't bringing in business?

I keep working on it. That means reviewing what the analytics actually show, rewriting the pages that are not converting, and adjusting the calls to action until the site earns its keep. On a monthly plan that work happens outside your included hours, so you never spend your own time on my under-delivery, and I do not stop until it performs.

What does the referral program pay?

Refer a business that converts to a paid plan, and your next month of service is free. No cap on referrals. A client who refers 12 businesses in a year pays nothing for service that year.

A separate partner affiliate program (cash commissions, for non-client referrers) is in development for Q3.
